HOW TO USE
Connect MIDI Pack'en's input/output port to either modem or printer port by using PatchBay from Apple. When MIDI Pack'en receives system exclusive data, a new window will open and show you the data size and manufacturer. If you have UnProtect file from me, you can save the data with comments (notes).
When you want to transimit the data back to MIDI equipment, you must adjust two parameter, packet size and packet interval. Please adjust them and try a few (or few ten) times sending out the data and confirm your MIDI equipment can receive the data with no error. Total Tx Time in window showing a little bit longer than the time it took for receiving will go.
Data size, packet size, packet interval for some MIDI equipments:
DX7 1patch data : 163bytes, 163bytes, ----
DX7 32patch data : 4104bytes, 32bytes, 17mSec
QX5 Song Data : 73632bytes, 249bytes, 100mSec
RX7 Seq &Voice : 10106bytes, 249bytes, 76mSec
RX7 Setup : 2956bytes, 249bytes, 66mSec
9030 All Patches : 14749bytes, 210byte, 65mSec
Please tell me the case for your MIDI Equipments. I'll summarize these information and show it for new users.
